What are jargons ?

Words & phrases used by members of a particular community or in a particular context, which have either no or other meaning outside that community & context are called jargon.
For example, IM is a medical jargon for Intramuscular, but on the internet it might be interpreted as instant messenger. Another example, ‘Code Eight’ is police term which means that ‘an office needs immediate help’, which outside that context & community has no meaning.
In content marketing, it is recommended not to use jargon to save users from unwanted confusion.
