What is Hard Bounce ?

When an email fails to reach client side server, it is called a bounce. Bounces are primarily categorized as hard & soft bounces. A hard bounce email is the message that is reverted to the sender when it fails to find the recipient’s email address. Primary reasons behind a hard bounce are invalid recipient email address and non-existence of the URL.
