It’s completely true that New Year is about new beginnings but we should salute the bygones too as they make us what we are. Like every year, we noted our accomplishments this time as well to see where we missed and what we hit. And it won’t be wrong to say that we hit the bull’s eye many times in 2015.
Carry on reading our throwback post to learn about:

  • Our most spectacular moments of 2015.
  • Areas worked upon.
  • Things that kept us busy and running at full throttle.

Let’s start with the most important aspect:

Process remodeling

At FATbit, we don’t believe in perfection. We believe in striving for it. That’s why we spent a lot of time this year enhancing FRDs, DFDs, SDLC, and scope documentation. This helped us understand client requirements better and hit project deadlines immaculately.

We expanded our team of project managers to make sure that every client gets superb experience and support. This not only delighted our present clients but prepared us for future ones as well.

To make internal coordination and data management more effective, our team of developers gave a major makeover to BIZixx, our internal project management system.

Startup spotlight

FATbit has been keeping an eye on global startup scene for many years, and evolving products to help entrepreneurs launch new ventures. This year, we introduced many game changing products to get started in highly profitable industries. Here are the most popular ones:

  • YoGigs – Services Marketplace Builder
  • Stitch – Custom Clothing Store Solution
  • Paperweight – Writers’ Marketplace Builder
  • YoYumm – Online Food Ordering System
  • YoRent – Online Rental Portal Software
  • YoDrive – Cars Marketplace Builder
  • YoMemberz – Membership Portal Solution
  • Campus – University ERP Software

Besides launching new products, our team also worked tirelessly on longstanding products like YoKart and YoDeals to enhance their performance & appeal.

All these products are result of extensive research, and we haven’t halted it just yet. So, watch out for new products in 2016!

Tryst with TiE

Every year, we participate in entrepreneurial events for industry networking, knowledge sharing, and also to get closer to market realities. In 2015, we attended TiEcon Delhi, a 2-day event where the likes of Ritesh Agarwal (Founder, OYORooms) and Deep Kalra (Founder, MakeMyTrip) made their presence felt.

Knowledge sessions

“Learning is not attained by chance; it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence”. The team of FATbit is a firm believer of this quote by Abigail Adams. That’s why we are always eager to organize:

  • Motivational presentations
  • Team activities
  • Skill sharing sessions
  • Group discussions

2015 witnessed many such gatherings at FATbit headquarters and we look forward to organize more of them in 2016!

New team members

Last year, we committed to the goal of expansion, and we remained true to it. We added new members to our family in almost every department namely, Design, Development, eMarketing, and Sales. The newbies hail from diverse backgrounds, have studied from best colleges of India, and bring unique set of skills to our team.

Outdoor adventures

If a project demands, we don’t hesitate to work around the clock. That’s why we are entitled to every bit of outdoor fun. In the year 2015, we planned multiple outings but the awesome trip to Hail Himalaya deserves special mention.

Our young crusaders were not only treated with adventure activities but also indulged in team building and communication games. In short, we had a blast every moment of the day. Have a look at the trip details.

Another reviving event for our boys was the Cricket League in which many IT companies and cricket clubs participated with zeal. The series was memorable as we discovered the hidden talents in our team and got to know the new entrants better. This picture says all.

Celebrations galore

Big outings take time to plan and execute. That’s why we occasionally throw small parties and dance bashes to keep the adrenaline pumping. Our HR department recently hosted a Christmas party which was quickly followed by New Year celebrations.

Bigger plans ahead

This piece of information probably shouldn’t be here in the first place but we simply cannot resist the temptation. In a couple of months, we will be shifting to a brand new office building that will be truly ours! By truly ours, we mean no rented floors and 100% ownership.

In other words, every brick and stick of the new campus will be owned by FATbit Technologies. Follow our Facebook page for updates in your news feed!

2015 was a memorable year in which we completed challenging projects, acquired new ones, delighted clients, and had fun each working day. FATbit Technologies already has mind-blowing plans for 2016, and can’t wait to get started.
