What is Search re-targeting ?

Search retargeting is a type of online advertising technique that allows businesses to display personalized ads to their target audience. Search retargeting, as the name suggests, is based on a user’s online search history. For example, if a user has recently searched for ‘online shoes’, he would see ads for shoes on the websites (which are hosting display ads) he would later visit.
